I have trouble installing 1.3.1. I donwloaded but cannot get the
dependencies installed: upower 0.99 gives some wierd error "upower no
longer provides upower" or some such :(

there are other workarounds than an session logout. I fixed this by
adding an xrandr call in acpi/lid.sh to force the screen to come on.

It's kinda sad that it is June 2014 and this still doesn't work (14.04 LTS):
"Generate package download script" creates a shell script with just
"#!/bin/sh"
in it. If a user is supposed to select or mark anything, at least this
menu item should prompt the user to do so.

Actually, I have an additional problem: if the resources are remote, I
cannot find a way to accept this remote site as trusted and the warning
is most annoying

Should update this:
I had to install xubuntu with the nomodeset switch to boot from the DVD and
didn't realize this option was installed in my /det/default/grub.
After install I removed the nomodeset and now the laptop boots fine and
the blank screen at logout is gone

using nomodeset during the initial install fixed the issue. After
xubuntu is installed and all drivers are updated (using nvidia 331.67
for the GeForce and the regular X driver from xorg edgers for the Intel)

out from the xubuntu session, I get a blank screen and unresponsive PC. Needs a
hard power down.
I do have bumblebee installed. Problem happens whether I use nvidia-current or

When printing from evince, if I change "Pages per side" in the "Page
Setup" tab and choose any other tab before I actually print, evince
forgets the change I made to "Pages per side". I have to click "Print"
from the Page Setup tab to have this property take effect. This is

Forever it's worth, this problem affects me as well in the "nothing moves"
version, i.e. no mouse,. no keyboard, nothing.
I experienced this in Classic Gnome (gnome-session-fallback) as well as in kfce.
I am running an hp with intel i7 cpu, Intel ivy bridge graphic (It has a hybrid
graphics board
I should mention, using pdftk from the command line works either way,
regardless of the order of the PDF file. problem seems to be in the
PDFChain GUI, not in pdftk

I just encountered the same problem. Trying to concatenate two PDF files: one
file generated with LibreOffice, the other scanned.
If I use the LibreOffice PDF file as first file followed by the scanned file,
PDF Chain works. The other way around (scanned PDF first, followed by the
LibreOffice PD
I didn't have this bug in either form for a long time. Lately I re-profiled
ureadahead and I ended up with the version of the bug that ends up in a blank
