The shoutcast service has been removed starting with 2.1.90 which will be
release tomorrow. This was done because of this and a few other problems with

This is a Phonon backend problem. You are most likely using GStreamer which is
known to be buggy and not recommended by us. The Phonon devs know about the
problem.
To work around it change your phononbackend to Xine in SystemSettings -> sound.

It will not get fixed by upstream for the Amarok 1.4 series as it involves

Ok. Traced it down to tab handling. There is an option to "always use tabs". I
had that enabled.
When I disable it Kopete doesn't crash.

Ok after some investigation with Czessi this seems to only happen when you have
tabs enabled for the message window.
It does not happen when you show messages from different contacts in different
windows.
