Same here on two (32 bits) systems : one Hardy KDE4 version (fresh
install, Composite enabled in xorg.conf), and one Gutsy w. KDE 3.5. They
both have their fglrx driver installed through the latest ATI installer.

The problem is still there in Gutsy, (with the MX1000 mouse) and the workaround
explained in help:/kcontrol/mouse/index.html is no more appropriate because it
refers to hotplug and not to udev.
It would be really helpful to give an hint on what file(s) the permission
problem is, to ease

I'm under kubuntu edgy (i386), and katapult 0.3.1.4-0ubuntu2~edgy1 does not
work after upgrade from the previous version , i.e :
- the Alt-space combo doesnt make the katapult window to show up
- clicking to Configure katapult leads to a crash
One has to remove the
