So I'll do that (if you don't mind) and propose a MP with a fix soon, or

Sam, I'm running Emerald on Raring, so maybe that is why - but here grabbing
window borders to initiate a resize is still very fuzzy...
We maybe should retest and revisit this issue for 13.04 ?

The invisible border logic is only implemented in gtk-window-
decorator.
It would have to be implemented on a per-decorator basis.

Seems like gtk-window-decorator is more advanced in this case than Emerald. :)

I thought a while about the best solution for this problem and came up
with this:
We can perfectly fix it without messing with Gnome itself:
First we will upgrade the Compiz Gnome Compatibility plug-in to also
deal with other gnome shortcuts (currently it just deals with
showMainMenu,
Show Repaint is already packaged and available.
