I have a problem with the ehci_hcd too. The printer, HP Photosmart C4180
only works in Linux if the USb 2.0 was disabled previously in the BIOS.
But the point is that this printer has a USB 2 port which allways works
perfectly, and even does a good job today with other operating systems.

that computer for two weeks. If the error is there by that time, I will

I can confirm this happens to me on a up to date Dapper (with backports
active). Typing monitor version is 2.14.2. My graphics card is an ATi
Mobility Radeon 9600, and I am using the propietary fglrx. However, I am
using xscreensaver instead of gnome-screensaver.
I have found out that the mouse wi

- i was able to boot the first time i tried, i even played a few games,
but the fans would sometimes start working at full speed during a few
seconds for no apparent reason. the computer eventually froze...
- the second time the keyboard didn't work, i tried shutting

with kernel 2.6.17-9-generic the computer always freezes during booting. even

Well, I haven't noticed any other problem with X applications. For instance
xfig works right and doesn't complain about colors allocations.

I have some more info on this bug. First, it also occurs in Debian Etch
(Gnome 2.14) with an Intel integrated GPI (i810, like kresp0). Second, it
appears to be solved in Edgy. I no longer suffer from it, although I've
switched to the free r300 driver.

I believe this should be closed. It is, indeed, a bug on the hal-device-
manager. This application is not parsing correctly parsing the output of
the hal-device. It should be easy to correct this but, since it is being
deprecated (already deleted from the git repository of freedesktop) and
replaced

I believe the problem is that the source package contains two different
versions of the ketchup.1 man page. One of them is correct but the file
that is actually installed on the system (verified on Gutsy) is
incorrect. The incorrect version is in debian/ketchup.1

I have the same problem here. It seems that this is related to the fact
that the connection to the POP3 server is kept alive after mail
download.
After some time, the connection seems to be closed and it is possible to
download mail again.
