I don't use anymore Juk, but I installed it just for testing purposes.
And, yes, the problem remains the same. I'm using Kubuntu 8.04.1 Hardy
Heron (KDE 3.5.9, AMD64), with all updates applied.
I have a similar problem with Amarok too, you can see it in
I checked again and my BIOS is in latest version (1011). But I remember
clearly that it's work fine in 7.10/i386 version. Then, I guess it can
be one of two things:
- A problem with AMD64 architecture, not present in i386 architecture
- A problem with kernel 2.6.24, not present in kernel 2.6.22
Based on the comments that followed the original issue, this is now
related to sound/audio issues with Totem and don't have anything to do
with the original issue (thumbnailer disabled).

this bug is actually correct both in Rosetta as well as upstream
GNOME. The problem is that somehow, the translation for gnome-terminal
is falling back to the Portuguese (pt) translation.

Hey Jonh,
You see, this has been already handled from the translation team point
of view. It is necessary to now test it with the newer translation. :)
In other words, someone needs to either download the .po file from
Rosetta, compile it into a .mo and replace the existing one in their
Ubuntu
