I have the same issue with Samsung N150. I have installed samsung-tools
and samsung-backlight. People discuss the issue in this thread

I change Protocol option from ImPS/2 to ExplorerPS/2 at mouse configuration and
problem disapear.
I'm using FF3 and Ubuntu 8.04.
