device.
My Acer NB9502 WSMI doesn't have a bt device, but it has a button.

I''v a build in BLuetooth chip. So the lsusb command isn't the right one
I think, because a build in Bluetooth chip isn't a usb device. But maybe
I'm wrong.
I did your steps, there was no difference between the two outputs. And
hcitool dev and scan gave the same output: no devices.
When I press
1. I've a key on the laptop to enable bluetooth. I tried to get it to
work with acer hk: I successfully installed it (there was no warning
message), but I didn't make any difference.
2. hcitool dev gives:
