I disabled IPv6 on the grub bootline and the error is still there - so
"ipv6.disable=1" does _not_ fix this problem!

Just FYI: I tried to use a static IP in the last hours and detected several
deauthentications. So I guess that DHCP is not a problem.
I also want to inform you that I tried to disable 11n and hardware scans
(which, according to a colleague, could lead to problems on Intel networking
hardware) -
Maybe we are looking at the wrong software here. Could it be that this
is a problem of wpa_supplicant instead? I attached the specific part of
my syslog when the deauthentication occurs. For the first 6 lines
everything's ok, though I believe the DHCP lease time of my university
network is _way_ to
I am experiencing this bug, too. The connection seems to be more
unstable in my university network than at home. I guess the reason could
be that there are multiple accesspoints with the same ESSID - which
seems reasonable because of the multiple mac addresses in my dmesg. So I
think this should be
IMHO this bug should get a high priority, because it is possible for users to
close windows behind the window they currently are seeing simply by pressing
the (X) button - and this might destroy important work.
Here is a screencast of a scenario where this bug occurs:

I now tested to switch to another display driver in the xorg.conf.
It seems the driver "intel" is not affected by this bug (maybe an update fixed
this), but the driver "i810" is affected by it.

This bug is still valid, I can confirm it for my ThinkPad R50e.
I guess it is a bug in the display driver from Intel, but it is _really_
horrible to me because I often close and open up the laptop lid.

Hi,
Adobe released the Open Flex SDK under the Mozilla Public License.
Therefore it would be great if we create a new package including the latest

I have installed 8.04 RC. I installed all updates and Apache2 - but only after
a reboot Apache2 was listening to IPv6.
So the bug does not affect Hardy any more - but in Gutsy I'm not able to get
Apache2 listening to IPv6.

Hi again,
it seems that there already are Debian packages for swfmill - for example here:
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/s/swfmill/
So the debian packages exist, they only have to be integrated in Ubuntu.

Hi!
The program "swfmill" from http://swfmill.org/ is missing in Ubuntu.
It's a great way to create SWF files (in addition with MTASC which already is
in Ubuntu).
It would be very nice to see this program in Ubuntu Universe/Multiverse
in the upcoming release. :-)
