I have a IPod Touch 8GB, model, MB528LL, version 3.1.3 7E18) and I have the same problem. Ubuntu sees it as a device containing pictures and music, but Rhythmbox does see it. This is with Ubuntu 10.04 final. I get his from Rhythmbox too: Device 0 (VID=05ac and PID=1293) is UNKNOWN. Please report t

If I understand correctly I have a similar but different problem. I had feisty installed on /dev/sda1. Then I installed gutsy tribe-5 in /dev/sda5. During the installation I removed the existing swap partition and made a new (bigger) one. Then I created a new partition for gutsy and it installed.
