I have a IPod Touch 8GB, model, MB528LL, version 3.1.3 7E18) and I have
the same problem. Ubuntu sees it as a device containing pictures and
music, but Rhythmbox does see it. This is with Ubuntu 10.04 final.

When I tried to open the a PDF-file, I get this error:

Failed to read the document catalog
I wasn't able to to read it with Gimp or Inkspace either. But I was able
to read it just fine with Adobe Reader 8 (version 8.1.3).
I'm using: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008111318
Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.4
And when I click on a link in Gnome Terminal or aMSN, nothing happens. In Hardy

After that I tried starting sound-juicer, but I forgot the '-' and I got

I have the same problem in Hardy Beta. I can't play any avi or mpeg movie (it
has worked before).
In /var/log/messages I get this:

I have the same problem (I think) on Gutsy Tribe-5. I have an Intel G965
chipset (on Asus P5B-V mobo) with a 19" Iiyama VisionMaster Pro 451 CRT.
When I start displayconfig-gtk, I get a list of resolutions of which [EMAIL
PROTECTED] is selected. When I switch to 1600x1200x75Hz I get this:

If I understand correctly I have a similar but different problem.
I had feisty installed on /dev/sda1. Then I installed gutsy tribe-5 in
/dev/sda5. During the installation I removed the existing swap partition
and made a new (bigger) one. Then I created a new partition for gutsy
and it installed.

integrated Intel G965 graphics and 2 GB ram. It also have random
screensavers and some hang and some don't. When it hangs I can switch to
a virtual console, but I can't seem to get my desktop back without
