Public bug reported: I'm trying to install Ubuntu 12.10 on a Lenovo y-500 laptop, dualboot with Windows 8 (UEFI) pre-installed.
Ubuntu-installation did not work in UEFI-mode, so I decided to use the legacy (BIOS) mode. This works fine, but when running boot-repair, to convert the installation to UEFI I get the following screen output: Reading package lists...
