Ubuntu broke my Windows EFI system partition, installing Ubuntu EFI on
it, despìte I have told Ubuntu to use the external drive.
*To fix the Windows EFI system partition:*
* Boot on Windows CMD using a Recovery Partition/USB Drive
** Windows Bootloader Recovery -> System Restore
This issue is fixed for Ubuntu 11.04? Or wifi still not working?

have to trust in the person o do this patch.

I think that the problem is in the kernel, so I think if you install a newer
kernel you will have this problem fixed..
But upgrade the kernel to the 2.6.34 isn't the best solution... I will wait one
week if will be a fix in the proposed-updates or ppa, if not I will update the
kernel to 2.6.34..

My ASUS eeepc 1000HE wifi also don't work fine with my WPA2.
I can only connect 2/10minuts and then I have to reboot the pc... To tried to
connect again..
Without wifi this OS is junk for my netbook.. Is any prevision for when

This notebook have a broken DSDT table, as result Fn+F6 button does not
work at all. There are two possible solution for a problem:
* ping ASUS for bugfix (i post a bug, but get "Linux is not supported")
* fix DSDT table manually according to this post, then patch your kernel to
support DSDT load
Also Fn+F6 don't work.

I resolve this problem, doing this:
sudo apt-get remove evolution # this remove ubuntu-desktop but don't worry
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
And tomorow i will do
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

With the last updates (20/12), when goes to screensaver, ubuntu don't
accept the password.
I intro the password in the dialog, it wait undefined 'verifying the
password', and don't give any error.
How to reproduze it?
Just have the last upgrades in Feisty, and don't do any
