Empathy works just fine when I am on the local network.

I am seeing this issue on 11.10 (Oneiric) as well, Empathy version:
3.2.0. I would really like to use Empathy, but this is a show stopper
for me. Any updates?

Just an FYI - I just starting having this problem w/ 9.10 (worked
perfectly before); however a colleague had this problem w/ previous
versions as well.
Aslo, note: I am not having this problem in 3.0. I just upgraded using
this method:

Missing
I'm attaching a file - activemq - which is designed to be a
startup/shutdown (/etc/init.d/activemq) for ActiveMQ. It's not perfect,
but I thought I'd share what I did to get ActiveMQ running as a
service.

I can report that this happens to be daily. Sometimes I can get around
the problem by kill -9'ing all the evolution processes and then
restarted evolution, but that doesn't work all the time either. I have

After upgrading to edgy, Evolution is not able to create tasks nor
meetings on an exchange calendar.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Calendar (Exchange Calendar)
2. Right click on a time slot - New Task/New Meeting
3. Fill in Summary/Description
4. Hit Save
Expected result:
I am not seeing anything in the UI that would indicate a problem has
happened. If I start Evolution from the command line; I see this output:
