Clean install from USB-boot medium with manual partitioning. I've told
Ubuntu to install itself on my former windows partition, so I've
formated that one. And the installer wanted to format my swap, a process

I've now figured out how to duplicate the messed-up entries: It seems to
happen always, when the column divider is so far on the right, that one
of the columns there has little space in the width and thus needs a lot

@#10 and how do I change that gconf switch (in Jaunty)? I have never had
a need to edit my gconf, but I have found that "wait 60s for shutdown"
terribly annoying since it showed up. Being able to change that in a GUI
would be great.

I've got the same problem - an updated Intrepid and the changing clock
in windows. The help-file (see attachment) does say there is an option
to change the utc-setting in the time-preferences, but the picture
clearly shows it's missing.
