Nouveau driver bug comment states that this issue is no longer present
in the latest kernel - after updating to latest from Linus' tree

Yes, I can now successfully suspend and resume with the 3.5.7 quantal
tree - thanks for the help.
The kernel warning stack dump I've tried to patch in the upstream
kernel, a fix is currently being discussed on the linux1394-devel /
linux-pm mailing lists.

I've taken the latest Ubuntu quantal kernel tree and taken a look at the
'Trying to free already-free IRQ 16' issue. In the suspend scenario for
the firewire-ohci code (drivers/firewire/ohci.c), first pci_remove() is
called followed by pci_suspend(). Both of these call free_irq(dev->irq,
ohci), wi
After a brief test following the BIOS update, it appears that the
subsequent suspends now work, thank you.
The 'Trying to free already-free IRQ 16' stack trace still exists, and
is repeated for each suspension.

When placing a MSI laptop into suspend mode, it works the first time
after boot, but dmesg shows a call stack trace. Subsequent attempts to
suspend after waking from the first suspend fail.
