I haven't had this problem for quite a while. It's a computer that I don't
use very often now. I can check what version of Ubuntu is running on it
some time.

I noticed that I have two kernels to boot with. When I tried 2.6.35.22
instead of 2.6.35.24 the Indicator Applet Session 0.4.6 switches users
fine. Switching users with User Switcher Applet 3.30.5 causes garbled
graphics.
Also when a click on System/About Ubuntu, it says: You are using Ubuntu
This seems similar to my bug. When I convert this file to Word 97 etc.
it crashes Oo on my computer. It is saved as an .odt. I deleted most of
the document leaving what I think may be the problem parts in. OO 3.1.1

I am having a similar problem. While having multiple applications open, usually
Firefox, Evolution, and a folder, the Gnome desktop freezes:
Mouse clicks on the navigation bar are unresponsive.
I can use Alt-Tab to switch between windows.
Applications and folders are responsive.

I upgraded to jaunty, and got a netbook, so no problems with menus. I
guess I should unsubscribe to this Bug. I really appreciate all the
help. I'm keeping Ubuntu!

Good call! It's an nvidia driver no. 96.43.09. Any suggestions? I am
running an MSI video card. I'd have to open up the computer to see what
model it is. This is an old computer that I am trying and so far liking
Linux/Ubuntu on. I think I will be getting a netbook or laptop with
