I don't know if it's relevant or not, but just in case: I notice when
Firefox is running I'm getting a lot of errors stating Failed to open
VDPAU backend libvdpau_nvidia.so: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory I don't have an Nvidia card in this machine and
haven't a clue why
Same as Igor above, I get a lot of these errors running Firefox. I do
not have an Nvidia card so cannot see why this driver would try to load.
I'm getting a lot of system crashes too.

Firefox this morning, X crashed straight out to the Ubuntu login screen

Drag and drop in applications causes
I'm still getting crashes - three this morning shortly after logging on.
The only app open was Firefox, and this crashed as it was loading,
taking X with it. This also happened yesterday. After logging in three
times, the crashes stopped. Weird.
I'd appreciate any advice as per #8.

Two more crashes today. Removing sendmail and sm-mta has not solved the
problem.
I attach some more information from various logs from aound the time of
the latest crash. Is there any other information I can give that would

after playing a bit around I found a solution:
- start ubuntu in recovery mode (press esc at startup and choose from menu)
-scroll all the way down and choose fix graphic problems
-start normally
that did it for me.

I was able to recover the hidden rows after I deleted the new row2 I added and
applied a new auto filter to row1 then filtered using 'All' option (column B).
Also, I could recreate this issue on another sheet. I found that applying the

I have an ancient orinoco gold card in a pci to cardbus bridge. When I
ran edgy RC from the live CD it did not work. It indicated no wireless
