I tested the Proxmox kernel with the integrated commit, and commit
de37faf4 solves the problem described here.
So I think your problem is a different bug.

Can you also test Tim's kernel?
If that works, you're having the same problem.

New Informations:
The bug is in the `bnxt_en` driver. A fix already exists (commit
de37faf41ac5).
It appears that this fix is not yet included in the Ubuntu 6.8.0 kernel.
The current Proxmox kernel is 6.8.12-9, based on Ubuntu 6.8.0-58.60.
Would it be possible to include this commit in the next

Hi Torsten,
sorry for the late reply — I’ve been tied up with other work over the
past few weeks.
I’ve now reported the issue (including the bisect result and commit
49d14b54a527) on the virtualization mailing list:

Severe network performance issues with Kernel 6.8.
Public bug reported:
Since upgrading to Kernel 6.8.0-53 and 6.11.0-17 on Xubuntu 22.04/24.04
VMs, we are experiencing extremely low network speeds (100-200 KB/s)
when running these VMs in a Proxmox 8.3.4 cluster with AMD CPUs and
Broadcom NetXtreme-E network adapters (bnxt_en driver).
