Binary package hint: vino
Changing the port to which the vnc server vino listens has no effect.
Vino sticks to port 5900.
sudo gconf-editor
select tree folder: desktop -> gnome -> remote_access
change key "alternative_port" to 5902
change key "use_alternative_port" to boolean true
log off & on or restarting the system
Server still listens on 5900 - not on 5902.
