Just upgraded to version 4.7.2, but still not solved for me. I'm using
Ubuntu GNOME Remix 16.04 LTS on a Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro. Suspend worked
perfectly on Ubuntu GNOME Remix 14.04 LTS.

That didn't work either.

When I open Alsamixer or gnome-volume-manager it says Audigy 2, but the sound
is going through the on-board card.
I will now try to disable the on-board soundcard in the BIOS and see if that
may trigger something.

Turning the on-board card of didnt work, but uninstalling alsa-base and
ubuntu-minimal and installing them again fixed it.
Well at least for now, I hope it won't stop working again.
