When using a rsa key example.key, network managers openvpn can't connect
(password field empty).
If one converts the keyfile and protects the key with a passphrase:
openssl rsa -in example.key -des3 -out example_passphrase.key
.
removing /var/tmp/kdecache-$USER, the link on it in .kde and the konsole
settings in .kde/share/apps solved the issue for me.

OK, in fact - I can confirm that it works with ubuntu & the preloading
in the skype wrapper. If you store the session via gnome, skype is
loaded via the real binary instead of the script. Adding it to the
startup items manually fixes this with my logitech quickcam stx.

OK, i can provide some information, first attachment is a screenshot,
after loading nvidia module manually. It occurs ~10 secs after loading.
I tried it with 2.6.22-14 xen kernel and modules.

debuggin info? I can boot and load module manually and produce a kernel
panic but how to store the output? Is there a better way than taking a
picture with a digital camera?

I am using ubuntu edgy, all packages are the current ones. Xorg with
xorg's radeon driver. Hardware is a Thinkpad T40 with a Radeon 7500
mobility. Screen is a Samsung 20'' TFT. Resolution 1600x1200.
Login via kdm is possible, it's just ugly. The bug showed up just a few
days
same here on my r100 (Radeon 7500 mobility),
fixed it (temporary) by linking /usr/lib/dri /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/dri
