NetworkManager.vpn fails --
I can confirm this on just-installed Lucid Lynx RC. Affects Eclipse as
well as RSSOwl (which uses the Eclipse Toolkit AFAIK). Removing the
package at-spi fixed the issue for me.
Java Installation is Open-JDK 6 from standard repo.

I have the exact same Problem. Connecting my external Monitor via VGA
works just fine. When I connect it via HDMI and set the resolution to
1680x1050 there is a big black bar on the left.
I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 (with Intel GM965) attached to an Samsung
Syncmaster T220HD. I attached all sorts

I have a similar problem. But I noticed that while
Icons/Nautilus/Wallpaper were "oversaturated", videos played with
mplayer/totem/vlc were not.

Here is a workaround: Simply disable the preview for soundfiles in
Nautilus options. I guess this is related to bug #125739 but I had not
had the time to try some of the workarounds mentioned there.
