I encountered the same issue today without warning, except for me,
opening a new window from File->New Window did not resolve the issue.
Starting Firefox from the command prompt gave no errors or warnings. The
only resolution I could find was to first start in safe mode (which had

I've installed the update to NetworkManager, and have lost the "Dial-up
connections" option in the contextual menu. I've tried configuring dial-
up using "Manage Connections", but this does not work. My present "sudo
ifup ppp0" still works to bring up the connection, but NM doesn't
recognize the co
On a whim, I once again tried connecting to my CDMA connection via
bluetooth using NM-applet-->Dial-Up Connections-->Connect to 1xevdo via
Modem. This time, it worked! However, NM still does not recognize that
it does not have a connection, and thus applications such as Firefox

I can also confirm this bug. I Chat and PPP to connect to the internet

configure my connection (my phone requires unusual initialization

/etc/network/interfaces which allows me to

here is the screen will dim to that set level after about a minute of
idle (or sometimes even if there is no idling), regardless of whether
"dim screen while idle" is set or whether the user has set a screen

This worked on my laptop until a recent GPM update. Now there's no way
to prevent it that I can find. Help? Someone?

I have the same problem, when dim when idle is enabled (or when display

This is not an ideal solution, but at least there's a workaround. If you
need any more information, please let me know.
