in php exiting after printing a WARNING instead of continuing execution.
I have attached a test script that tries to connect to a non-existent DB
- on Debian Lenny prints an err
I have applied the patch from upstream and can confirm that it fixes the
issue on karmic.

up. The only thing I have found to work around the problem is booting
with the maxcpus=1 parameter.
