Actually, Wenfang was right here. It doesn't matter that the word

This is a confusing bug report. The battery graph doesn't show one
curve for everything, it shows one curve for the battery. If your phone
had a removable extra battery pack, then it might be interesting to show
multiple curves.

It's possible for any of the other fields to have values specific to
each data type too. The logical conclusion would be that we'd have not
just MMS proxy and MMS proxy port, but also MMS user name, MMS
password, and eventually perhaps MMS authentication and MMS
protocol. That would be redundant.
Fair enough. So, I fixed this in the redesign by adding a Hide
password checkbox below. The checkbox exists not so much to be used, as
to notify+reassure people that revealing the password is expected
default behavior.

If you're using another carrier, either you have just changed the SIM,
or you've just started/finished roaming, correct? In either case, Ubuntu
should see the carrier change, try auto-detecting the APN, and leave the
fields blank if it fails, so
