JaSauders, when a window opens or asks for focus, the window manager has
to decide whether focusing it is a good idea.
If you choose an item in an indicator menu, wanting to see a particular
window, obviously it should be focused, right? Well, no. For example,
when I choose the date item in the
Oops, I never got as far as designing the case where you use up all your
chances to enter the correct PIN.

The majority opinion in a bug report doesn't mean anything. People who
look for, find, and comment in bug reports are disproportionately those
who notice and are annoyed by software's current behavior. People who
don't notice, don't care about, or agree with, current behavior don't go
looking for
I still think that this is asking people to fiddle around doing something that
the phone should be doing itself. In particular, I still would like answers to
these questions:
1. How does battery consumption compare with cellular data on vs. off?
2. When Wi-Fi is connected, does the cellular

Alternative video driver (fglrx) is not being saved as a

Maybe your hand is momentarily blocking the light? If so, maybe the
automatic brightness code should wait for any dimming to (a) persist for
longer (e.g. 4 seconds) or (b) to be less volatile (e.g. turning off a
light switch results in less-volatile dimming than moving your hand over
the phone
