Strangely, appointments can be seen when clicking on the date on the top
bar. Even with the Calendar/Appointments/Locations dialogue open, when I
click on Calendar in Evolution, I cannot see anything and continue to
receive the warning that it must be restarted.

I am completely locked out from my Tasks, Memos, and Calendar in Evolution,
ever since I upgraded from 10.04 to 10.10. It is very frustrating, as there is
a lot of important information (100's of items) in those formats.
I'm using the 64-bit version.

I ran the same update on my 64-bit desktop machine a few days later, and
had no problems. Also, a further update to my laptop cured the problems
i had been having on the laptop. My laptop also has bad sectors on the
root file system partition, which may be the cause of my problems.

The same happens for me. I have a Yahoo and an MSN account and the
Yahoo account connects (it tells me about my new Yahoo emails) and then
it crashes without telling me about my MSN mails.
