Public bug reported:
libxml2 upstream has adopted a time-based release model and plans to
release new versions every month.
Can/will you follow this with regular imports of the upstream changes,
and if so, can we estimate which version will make it into the next LTS?
** Affects: libxml2 (Ubuntu)
Version "2.0.4~bpo8+1" does not make sense, as I intended to report this
for Debian :(.
Does it make sense to keep this report here? If not, feel free to close.

Public bug reported:
Sites using DNSSEC have a high probability of producing large DNS
replies to "ANY" queries issued by this version of qmail. qmail cannot
handle those and will fail to deliver mail to such sites.
As described here:

If I am not mistaken, the qmail package for Ubuntu already contains the
patch [1] for DNS responses > 512 byte. Still there seems to be a
problem that can be mitigated by not querying for ANY but just for CNAME
records [2]. Or, even better, remove that check entirely as allegedly
recommended by DJB
Sorry for a possibly dumb question - will this fix somehow become
available for Precise as well?
