This issue started happening since upgrading from 4.4.0-11 kernel to
4.4.0-12 from main repo and so on to 4.4.0-15. While tested v.4.5, the
bug still exists.

Have caught just the same, exept my kernel is 2.6.32-10-pae. The way i
load the system: changing "ro" in grub kernel loading parameters to
"rw".
