If you are upgrading, you need to remove your ~/.glipper directory.
After I did this, glipper ran fine. Glipper is now a gnome panel applet
(hence no binary in /usr/bin). It doesn't have a separate launcher
anymore, so you need to use "Add to panel" . Cheers.
