I have tried both of these work-arounds and they do not fix this issue. I cannot get so far as to even boot into the 10.04 LiveCD desktop (unless it plans to time out after 20-30 minutes--haven't tried). My system is a Mac Mini (mid 2010) with a Corsair F120 SSD, and I can provide more information if it would be helpful. However, it is identical to most of the information posted here, except that the work- arounds do not help. I also have tried the "Mac Mini Spin": (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Macmini4-1/Lucid), which works with the regular hard drive, not the SSD I'd like to use. -- udisks-probe-ata-smart causes HSM violations https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574462 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
