As hard as I try, I just cannot reproduce it anymore, and I can't find the specific bit of code causing it. So, here it goes, back to the community :( ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu) Assignee: Michael X (crazedpsyc) = (unassigned) ** Changed in: software-center (Ubuntu

[Bug 728969] Re: Wireless connection very slow and weak on Natty Alpha 3

2011-04-27 Thread Michael X
So it appears that it goes really really slow for a while and then finally kicks in. I think it might be a router incompatibility issue, because with a different router (still wireless N+) it worked fine. The one that doesn't work is Belkin N+ dual-channel... and the one that works is a newer

[Bug 759469] Re: Ubuntu hangs when restoring a session in Firefox

2011-04-23 Thread Michael X
I'm not sure, but some update recently may have fixed it. It hasn't happened again accidentally, but I'll try to do it on purpose. One other thing that may help, for me it only occurred after I had run killall5 in tty6 after a compiz crash. killall5 logged out my session by killing gdm, then gdm
