The Jabra BT250v doesn't work with this new build. It still sends audio
but playing sound through the device results in I/O error. The device
initializes for a second and begins to send a signal and then dies.

There is never a version selection for repos here. It seems that the CLI
is incomplete and this was never implemented. However, it should be
assumed that if one is installing from Intrepid one wishes to build an
Intrepid install.

In short there is no way to learn what this script does or how to use
it. Granted, someone using this should be able to read the code and
discover what it's doing. But then aga
The problem is definitely in the driver. It has to do with the way that
initialization happens. It only polls for the device if it's turned on.
Needs to be rewritten to allow proper detection. This bug will need to
be dealt with upstream rather than in Ubuntu.

Even easier is to get the previous compiled version from Edgy.I just
downloaded the deb and extracted the two files from data.tar.gz/usr/lib
/alsa-lib/ and put them in /usr/lib/alsa-lib/ - works like a charm!

Thanks for the research on this. It's important for this to be included.
With the release of Ubuntu Studio we are even more in need of this as
many audio studio will want to run everything through JACK. I wish the
MOTUs were as responsive as the community...
