Updates 3.4.0-0ubuntu4 fixed most of my problems, thanks to developers.
Minor quibble is the scale option, mouse wheel used to scroll the bar,
not working now, but keyboard still works. Thanks for all the hard work.

Bugs,
I have many scripts with Zenity, with the update to 12.04 many now don't
work, there is no message and CPU usage rises progressively. I was
testing with this snippet:
ls -1 * | zenity --list --column=Files --text= --title=
. . always worked in past, not now. No error messages. Have the latest
Latest download of libnux did the trick for me on HP DV4, thanks for
your work

Not sure if this is a cure, or an anomaly or a bug, I just turned off
'Automatic Login' and it seems to have fixed this problem, how can this
be?

You are correct, it was an anomaly . . but I didn't imagine it, there
was a change. I am not sure what caused it but it was something related
to login/autologin as I was fiddling with that due to another problem.
Linux is great but you need time to fix problems.

I was wrong, this is still a problem, must have been an anomaly, it is
back to - not fixed.

quicklists not accessible for the first time
I'm cautiously optimistic the quicklist problem is sorted - at least for
me, with latest downloads. At login all seems to work fine. The other
problem I mentioned however, has not. Meta+s and click quicklist still
freezes quicklist menu on the screen but Jan's option of clicking

Can I reopen this? I have recently upgraded to Oneiric and can confirm
this problem still exists, one click to share desktop with recipient
fails, stop sharing, then share desktop again is successful, repeatable,
nothing in logs. Have fiddled with Compiz settings but nothing changes
this
Quite correct Jan, your suggestion worked fine, seems like a bug, though
not a show stopper. Just not what I've come to expect from Ubuntu. But
it's early days for Oneiric.

Still have this problem but more worrying, I pressed meta+s to see my 4
workspaces then right clicked launcher icon to access a quicklist, not
only would not select items in quicklist - but the actual quicklist
popup menu stayed on the desktop frozen, had to reboot to get it to
vanish, nothing in
Fully upgraded, still an issue, very annoying, nothing in logs

To manage
Applets freeze [all] when either meta+w or meta+s is used to arrange
desktops or open applications. When meta+ combo key is pressed again
clicking any applet that was NOT clicked restores the frozen applet to
normal function. Not sure if this is planned behaviour or not.

More testing. Not only does the audio applet become non responsive
during meta+w or Scale, but ALL applets on panel freeze. Pressing meta+w
or click with mouse for Scale, then clicking another applet unfreezes
applet. It is not possible to click another applet and unfreeze unless
the desktop
I've since done more testing; seems it has nothing to do with Firefox or
loading video embedded pages. Audio mixer applet becomes unresponsive
when meta+w is pressed. It remains unresponsive until meta+w is pressed
again and another applet is clicked with mouse, when it becomes
responsive again.
Reproduced several times by accessing a web page with an embedded video
link that has audio, with Firefox. For instance:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3rM4vT7Vgsfeature=related
Then press 'meta+w' to arrange all open windows; or in my case move
mouse top/right corner as I have 'Scale'
Can also confirm I have this problem with Skype buddy list, moves down
and to the right by an increment each time it's opened/closed.

Can confirm sound applet freezes and become unresponsive when using
Skype and wish to adjust sound, not consistent, a logout usually fixes.

Why not redraw the screen once after resume?
. . it is a minor inconvenience, moving the mouse over the launcher
immediately redraws it. Though it's not a slick way to present a
desktop, I agree.
If I do as you suggest, how might I do that? Is there
