Hey! Are you kidding me?!
Ubuntu 11.10 uses Unity interface by default. There is no Gnome Desktop and no
gnome-panel package as well in the Unity.
And in the Unity's DateTime settings and in the Locations list there is
neither GMT no UTC abbreviations.
No package - no bug.

Now I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 (with Unity desktop) on two computers: one is
upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 and one is clean installed Ubuntu 11.04.
