I got a computer from a friend who said it was not working well.
As soon as I booted it with Live CD, I got the error of a disk failing.
I did a backup, but some of the files were unreadable, even though
S.M.A.R.T says the Read Error Rate is 0 (Raw 0x)

I have the same problem with Lenovo X60. Changing monitor configuration
when desktop effects are enables causes the display to freeze. I only
get a black screen with a cursor that does not move. The only way to get
out from this lock is to reboot the computer.

Status was changed to Won't Fix without a reason. Could you or
somebody else explain why this is not a real bug?
If you *really* believe that the ondemand governor is good enough, why
the 60 second delay? Wouldn't it make sense to force ondemand
immediately without any delay?

After upgrading from Jaunty to Karmic, a remote CentOS 5.4 server with
libvirt is unable to display screen using VNC because the nc (netcat)
command on CentOS does not support the -q option, and the virt-manager
in Karmic tries to use it.
single boot I need to turn on and off the mouse and
connect and unconnect the bluetooth connection to it before it starts
to work. This is really miserable, but after unsuccessful experiments
with other bluetooth software, I see no easy solution to this.
And that I consider as a bug too.

One could argue that the current du output is correct because the
ecryptfs really requires zero bytes for storing the files (because it's
using the underlying file system for actual storage).

Any progress on this bug? I accidentally hit this issue and I indeed
mistyped my passphrase while changing it. Luckily I was able to guess
the typo I made...
Also, the dialog for entering the existing passphrase before changing it
does not make clear which passphrase I should enter. If it's
