it works when you first use the unmount option in nautilus and then eject.
then, it opens.
but when pressing the hardware button for opening the cd-rom, it ain't working
until you log off and/or log on again.

nope, i believe this is not a duplicate bug.
bug #382941 tells that ipod can not be found.
In this error, iPod is found, but there are some errors.
Check the description. I believe it's not the same.
