What I expect to happen:
Expect compiz to decorate windows, and gnome-shell to display correctly.
What actually happens:
compiz will not decorate windows, and it seems like it blanks out one
the monitors and displays content of the blank screen
No it is fixed, but another problem appered that makes it unusable.
When all eye candy in Ubuntu is turned on, minimizing and maximizing
windows takes 1-2 seconds, where the computer freezes.

G3 Modem. USB attached.
Most of the time is does not recognize it, but sometimes it works. I was
working in Ubuntu 9.04.

I had a really ugly soft lockup on my desktop. It is running the Feisty release
version. The install failed
while booting the live disk, as the xserver was unable to start. So I booted
the live disk in Safe Graphics Mode
