Hi, I have the same model laptop and am running into the exact same

Error activating XKB configu
Just looked at the code a little, though I'm not really familiar with
the internal Gnome architecture at all. It looks like indicator-session
is where things go down. session_service.c is where the Lock Screen
item is actually provided for the menu, and lock-helper.c (function
lock_screen()) is w
To answer your question, Brian, yes, it appears this bug is still
present in Lucid. I stumbled on this bug report after noticing the
problem (I also refuse to use the broken gnome-screensaver). It looks
like ctrl-alt-l works correctly in Lucid, but the "Lock Screen" session
menu command does not.
I'm seeing the same problem as well. I started with the following line
in fstab:
:/ nfs rsize=8192,wsize=8192,timeo=14,intr
I was having permissions problems, because the UIDs on the two machines
were not the same. This resulted in an error of the form:
mount.nfs: access denied by server whil
Don't hesitate to ask for any info around my laptop if that would be helpful
e.g. /proc filesystem info, software versions etc. I'm happy to do what
little I can to help.

My new System76 Serval laptop doesn't detect the touch pad. Instead it
thinks it is a "ImPS/2 Logitech Wheel Mouse" (from
/proc/bus/input/devices).
