Hi. First-time Unity user here (12.04), so please excuse me if this
topic has been covered before.
While in Firefox I select something at random with the mouse -- let's
say text on a website -- and drag it, the Unity bar appears on the side
(I have it hidden) and among all th
Ah. With Visual Effects turned off, I don't see this happening. (Just a
big shadow of the active window on the background window.) As for
themes: I've seen this happen with Ambaince, Radiance (as already
mentioned) and New Wave.

Just to add it does not need to be a pop-up. I dragged the terminal
window over Firefox and the same thing happens.

enabled Apport using "ubuntu-bug gnome-media". It was ready to file a
report (just as it did when I reported the original bug), I performed
the things that causes the bluetooth indicator to vanish, and when

In Lucid I see a new sub-menu called "Move To" when I right click on a
folder or a file. By default the menu contains two options, namely Home
Folder and Desktop, and if I am working within a Nautilus window, there
is another option for moving it to the "Other pane," which is

This bug certainly exists for me, even after doing two fresh installs of
Jaunty. (Check bug #369886)
Is there a temporary workaround for this. I don't really use Brasero, so
can I remove it or something, to get the CDs working as they used to?
