Well, if this bug was fixed then there's one just like it in the latest
version of Ubuntu and in Fedora 10. Seems to mostly effect QT
applications... KDE 4.2, VirtualBox, Opera, etc. It's annoying. The
application starts and you can't write squat or you can write and then
splat keyboard input

Aparently the Archlinux users have figured out exactly what's wrong.
It's to do with the nvidia-utils package that installs with the ubuntu
drivers. Installing the official drivers removes the issue. You can
