When clicking mailto:; links in Chromium, nothing happens. I have
Googled around and found that Chromium uses xdg-email for these. I think
the problems is the routine desktop_file_to_binary which returns empty
because the grep for Exec finds three such lines in the file
I had this problem (or very similar). Near the end of install to EeePC
701SD an apt error window opened saying An attempt to configure apt to
install additional packages from the CD failed. I clicked OK and then

I can also confirm this problem. Removing the mail and shutdown icons
from the panel is a workround but not ideal. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and
