Kamus' fix in comment #3 works for me (Ubuntu 10.04, 32-bit machine,
gwibber 2.30.0.1).
Would be great if this became a patch - there are still plenty of
enthusiastic FriendFeed users out there!

I am running gwibber 2.30.0.1 on 3 machines: two i386, one amd64, with
a new installations of ubuntu 10.04.
None of them display the FriendFeed feed items. There are no errors in
the debug output, just a blank display when FriendFeed is selected.
