Should I wait for it when it comes on the update manager or is there
another way to install it? I'm afraid my knowledge is very basic about
these things.

Due to the nature of the issue I have encountered I am unable to access
my laptop while running this kernel. I can't login and the screen is
black! So there is no way I can run my laptop with it, let alone access
a terminal window.

Bugs,
I found this bug in my system logs today, but I boot just fine. Can
someone pls guide me step-by-step how to solve it? I hate to be
stranded suddenly from being able to boot. Pls note I'm still very new
with linux and ubuntu so any "lingo" needs to be very basic so I can
understand it. Thanks.

did solve the problem.
