Laptop model. - clausoft mnw737 (meenee)
Manufacturer of the Touchpad. Synaptics - Not sure of the exact model will try
getting the information from clausoft
When the symptom first appeared. - I assume its always been present, I have
tested it on 12.04, 12:10 alpha 3

Essentially this is the same bug as 755518.
The synaptics touchpad present in meenee netbook is being detected as ps2 mouse.
The issue is present also in 12.10 alpha 3 of ubuntu that i tried.
I tried 3.60-030600rc3-generic i686 kernel but this didnt fix the issue.

I tested against 3.6.0-030600rc3-generic i686 kernel and issue is still
present

I tested it in 12.10 alpha 3 and its still broken, ill see if i can try
it with latest upstream kernel
