manually downloading and installing the .deb.
I found the quantal tortoisehg-nautilus package at:

Same problem here with Ubuntu 10.10 on an Acer Aspire One 522, which
uses a Broadcom chipset (BCM4313).
My educated guess is that the binary blob Broadcom driver is to blame,
so i guess this bug is kind of irrelevant post-natty because the 2.6.38
kernel includes an open source broadcom driver for

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602390.
I have also confirmed that the "Straighten" operation can be applied
multiple times to a single photo to reproduce the bug.
I am sure this is not the only edit operation with this memory leak, as
i did not use

I just replicated this bug on karmic with the following process:
1. Import a couple hundred photos into F-spot.
2. Go through each photo, using different operations from the edit menu on
photos in the album.
3. Observe the memory usage for different operations

Sorry for the lack of response. I was in the final months of my
Engineering degree when i filed the bug, leaving me little time to do
the necessary investigation. I have since installed a machine with the
latest copy of Ubuntu Karmic and the problem has not recurred. It
appears to have been some so
I'm getting this bug with gtk-recordmydesktop in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic. The
program gets to the encoding step of the process and then hangs. Given
that it works fine on my 9.04 machine, i think the problem may be
related to this bug on sourceforge:

I haven't submitted this bug upstream, and haven't had a chance to test
it on karmic yet.
