As the idea is to create a deb file, maybe someone who managed to create it
could make it available to others.
Worse case scenario, it won't work on 10.10 ... which is the current case
anyway, right?

Hi,
I was so happy when I sow those posts (40 ish) but kernel compilation is
not by strongest area if you see what I mean.
I was therefore waiting for a package or a kernel update but so
far...nothing.
That's why I wanted to test your solution.
I guess I have to continue to wait then :-(
kernel-headers, fakeroot and patches (the ones through the Update
Manager) are all installed.
Any other idea?

I updated my kernel to 2.6.37rc8 on 10.10 but I still have the driver
issue. When inserting an SD card (noname and kingston, 1Gb both), lsusb
lists the ENE reader but the device is not available (not listed at all
in Places and Computer.
Any other idea?

Just updated the kernel from the Update Manager but still no joy with
the ENE card reader :-(
