Ubuntu Hardy (upgraded from Gutsy during beta stage)
On KDE 3.5.9, the "Show desktop" applet no longer works, ie opened
windows are not hidden to display only the desktop.
I precise that I alsa have KDE4 installed (if it may lead to
conflicts...)

I upgraded from Gutsy.
I tried to remove, purge and (re) install firefox and firefox-3.0
package but no differences/changes.
I also have KDE4 installed (if it may have some impacts...)

Same for me for my desktop pc. On my laptop, it's reboot that fails. I
have to press off button to reboot... :-/
It worked well with previous kernel and since a few upgrades, it does
not work any longer.

Changes from Medium to High has been made a few days/weeks ago... ;-)
My ugly workaround was to use wpa_supplicant for network I know (home,
professional, etc) so that I do not need wlanassistant except when I'm
out of home/office ;-)

importance...
I'm a little upset/disappointed with edgy flavour as it looks it's not

then the wlassistant fails to connect
sudo iwconfig eth3 is ok for all information.
solution is to open a term/console and type "sudo dhclient eth3" to get
an IP
