Yes the UTF-8 charset work fine with both OpenOffice on the one side and all
the rest GNOME programs on the other side.
But no one seems to care about this bug!

Next I will paste current section of my /etc/mc/mc.ext because I think it's not
just the %f issue. My file looks different from what you guessed. It's what I
noticed before, mc points to the old utility and not to the new one's help. Not

In my case (maybe with others too) using a file for 'starter' is not an
option because I use Revelation applet and I start the program and the
file from there. And I want to continue to use the applet for it's other
useful options like unlocking file only for viewing or searching within
applet.

I have an add-on (all-in-one sidebar). To open this sidebar I need to go
to the left border of the screen.
This happened after the last update (2-3 days ago). I don't know why is
this done and it's not fatal but I think it's not how it must be.

IMHO This is not 2.6.19-7 update specific error.
This happens if partitions were changed and /boot/grub/menu.lst edited.
For example I had hda1 - Xp, hda5 - extended (hda6-/, hda7-home, hda8-swap).
Now I only have hda1-/ ext3 and hda2- swap and every time I update the kernel
it returns the old
