Just another confirmation of the most annoying bug in Karmic. That's
really ridiculous, how come the default application does not support
proxy. Devels keep working on improving interface in MUC, support for
adium theming and other less relevant things, while the application is
not usable. Nonsense
After the last update, the problem is almost fixed. Now launching
applications does not lower the volume to 0, that's great. Thanx. But
still another small bug remains. The sound is muted and the volume is 0
at every logging in. So I just have to unmute it and adjust the volume
every time I boot my

No, vice versa. The volume is 0, but the "mute" box is not checked. It
can be seen on the video, after launching any application I have to
increase the volume from 0 to whatever, and NOT just unmute it.

Yes, manual configuration works fine. So the bug should be described as
'Failure of automatic network configuration with the network-manager', I
guess.
